Whether a student is just beginning or has years of experience, we strive to help each person develop confidence, creativity, discipline, and a lifelong love of music.

Our students come from many different backgrounds and pursue music for many different reasons. Some are preparing for college music auditions, community theater productions, talent shows, or other performance opportunities. Others simply want to learn a new skill, express their creativity, or enjoy music as a lifelong hobby.
We are proud to work with students of all ages, abilities, learning styles, and goals. Many of our students are neurodivergent, and we strive to create a supportive environment where every student feels encouraged, valued, and capable of success. As the mother of an autistic son, Melodie continues to grow her understanding of adaptive teaching strategies and believes that every student deserves the opportunity to experience the joy of making music.

While musical growth is important, people matter more than performances, trophies, or perfection. We strive to create an environment where students feel encouraged, valued, and supported as they grow both musically and personally.
Our goal is to provide excellent music instruction while helping students discover confidence, creativity, resilience, and what they are capable of achieving through consistent effort and encouragement.
We don't sacrifice people for music. We believe the best music education develops both musicians and people.

About the Owner
Melodie has been teaching piano and voice lessons for over 20 years. She is a degreed musician and has been involved in the performing arts since the age of five. Not only has she trained some pretty amazing students, she has also trained hundreds of musicians in the art of teaching lessons.
Melodie has trained with world-renown vocal coach, and vocal coach to the stars, Roger Love. While she gained much knowledge and skill at the University level, it was her work with Roger Love that helped her find her best voice and gave her the skills and knowledge to help others in their quest to better both their speaking voice and singing voice.
Melodie’s current and former students have gone on to major in music at the University level (one student at an Ivy League Music School!); receive call-back auditions for Broadway shows; participate in and place in local, regional and national competitions; join and lead bands both in the educational and entertainment settings; perform major roles and lead roles in musicals and plays throughout the DFW area and beyond; develop a love and appreciation of performing; conquer stage fright; and most importantly, gain the skills and desire to make music a life-long enjoyment. Melodie's teaching experience includes:
* Private music instructor for over 20 years for ages two through adult on piano, voice, and a variety of other instruments.
* Choir Instructor for ages 8-18.
* Musical Theater Director for ages 5-18, having directed musicals with casts of up to 100 students!
* General Classroom Music Teacher for ages 3-18.
* Pre-K Music and Piano Class Instructor.
* Band Director for elementary-, middle- and high-school students.
* Dance Instructor for ages 3-adult
In addition to her varied teaching experience, Melodie has a wide range of group and solo performance experience, having performed solos for groups as large as 2000 people, holding lead roles in musical productions, and accompanying instrumentalists and singers from soloists to large choirs.
In 2006, Melodie created a training program for music teachers, and has since provided training for hundreds of music teachers across the country.
Most importantly, Melodie is a true teacher at heart. It is this love of teaching that gives her the ability to reach a variety of learning styles and goals.
Fun Fact
"Did you change your name to become a music teacher?"
Melodie hears this question all the time! The answer is no. Her parents chose the name Melodie long before she ever taught a lesson, sang a song, or sat down at a piano. As it turns out, it was a pretty fitting choice.
Gabe: Guitar, Drums, Bass
Gabe: Guitar, Drums, Bass
Gabe is a multi-instrumentalist with 20 years of musical experience, including learning from many wonderful teachers, and self study. He plays electric guitar, bass guitar, and drums, and currently writes and performs music with his band. Gabe’s teaching philosophy is simple: learning music should be fun. Whether a student is learning their first notes, chords, or complete songs, he creates an encouraging environment where students can build confidence, develop strong musical skills, and enjoy the learning process. Inspired by the teachers who brought out the best in him, Gabe is passionate about sharing his knowledge and love of music with others. He hopes to inspire the next generation of confident musicians, creative performers, and future rock stars.

Capernauia: Guitar, Bass, Violin
Capernauia has loved music since the age of four, starting with piano before studying violin through high school and performing in orchestra. She later taught herself guitar and bass, performing with numerous bands, touring, and playing venues across Texas. As an independent artist, Capernauia writes, records, mixes, and releases original music and is currently working on a second album. Capernauia believes every student can learn music with the right encouragement and guidance. Her lessons focus on building confidence, creating a strong musical foundation, and making learning fun through songs students enjoy. Whether a child is picking up an instrument for the first time or developing new skills, Capernauia strives to create a positive, supportive environment where students can grow at their own pace and develop a lifelong love of music.
